The secondary instrumental program is highly collaborative and continues to grow, supported by strong student interest and a community that deeply values music education. Responsibilities include:

• Teaching high school Concert Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and instrumental lessons during the school day
• Preparing and conducting performances throughout the year, including concerts, community events, and co-curricular experiences such as non-competitive marching band and parades
• Continuing to build upon a strong wind band program through thoughtful repertoire selection, high-level rehearsal practice, and long-term program development
• Supporting individual student growth through opportunities such as honor ensembles and festivals
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure alignment of curriculum and contributing positively to a collegial, high-functioning department
• Participating in department-wide initiatives, including concerts and periodic travel experiences (e.g., Disney)
• Additional opportunities may include advising or directing extra-curricular ensembles
