Job Description

The successful candidate has a demonstrated ability to perform cleaning and caring for school buildings.

 

Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweeps, mop, strip, and wax floors.
• Dusts woodwork, furniture, and other articles.
• Washes windows, doors, and walls.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed.
• Replace light bulbs, towels, soap and other supplies.
• Remove trash and recyclables.
• Assist with room setups (events, meetings, school functions).
• May be assigned to other labor tasks as required.

Job Qualifications

New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. Salary as per MESPA contract. This is a full-time, 12-month position with hours of:

(1)  1:30 pm – 10:00 pm Monday through Friday

(3)  3:00 pm – 11:30 pm Monday through Friday
