Job Description

The District is seeking a dependable individual to join our team as a Substitute Cleaner.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweeps, mops, and wax floors.
• Dusts woodwork, furniture, and other articles.
• Washes windows, doors, and walls.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed.
• Replace light bulbs, towels, soap and other supplies.
• Remove trash and recyclables.
• May be assigned to other labor tasks as required.

Job Qualifications

New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Compensation is $21.62 per hour.
