Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Mows lawns, trims hedges, rolls, reseeds and fertilizes lawns and cares for trees, shrubs and flowers.
• Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, etc.
• Operates a variety of grounds maintenance equipment.
• Participates in the maintenance of recreational area.
• Performs a variety related grounds maintenance tasks.
• Participates in miscellaneous jobs inside buildings during the winer months, as required.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

One year of satisfactory experience in grounds maintenance work.

 

New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. A valid Driver License issued by the State of New York. This is a full-time, 12- month position with hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Salary as per MESPA contract.
