Responsibilities consist of chairing the Committee of Special Education (CSE) and Section 504 meetings of students in the high school, observing students in their educational settings, conducting evaluations, and participating in building-level support meetings.
Position requires collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students with disabilities.
Prior experience as a school psychologist chairing committee meeting in the secondary school environment preferred. Experience with the needs and services for students with disabilities, administration of psychological, educational, and behavioral/social/emotional assessments, and knowledge of the Federal and NYSED regulations.
Appropriate New York State School Psychologist certification required.
