Responsibilities consist of chairing the Committee of Special Education (CSE) and Section 504 meetings, observing students in their educational settings, conducting evaluations, and participating in building-level support meetings.
Position requires collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students with disabilities.
Prior experience as a school psychologist chairing committee meeting in the secondary school environment preferred. Experience with the needs and services for students with disabilities, administration of psychological, educational, and behavioral/social/emotional assessments, and knowledge of the Federal and NYSED regulations.
Qualifications: Appropriate New York State School Psychologist certification required.
